.
Yes I am down to 39 miles left for the year to reach the 1000 goal. Yeah I know you are as tired of hearing about it as I am writing about it. But since I am not doing this any time soon you will have to deal with it until I "GET R DONE".
Some other things.
You know what I have found to be pretty fun. Watching these game shows while having my laptop on hand. I was watching the show Duel for the first time tonight with the lap top. And yes I knew some of the answers like what does a "Scoville Scale" measure. But for the ones I have no idea I try to battle the contestants and see if I can find the answer before it is revealed. Yeah I know I live a real exciting life. Hey the family is sleeping and I already logged 5.1 miles tonight on the treadmill so leave me alone. I will be turning Monday Night Football on soon.
Books.
Although I am not much of a reader I picked up two books from Amazon and received one of them today. I had waiting for me Nancy Clark's Sports Nutrition Guidebook.
I also picked up but have not received John Mora's Triathlon 101. I look forward to reading these two and hopefully use the knowledge I gather in the up coming season.
2007 Goals.
Well you know I am trying to reach 1000, but my blogging buddy Pat is also trying to reach his goal of 800 miles for the year. Please be sure to check out his blog and wish him luck.

Great job on the miles. You are in the home stretch-goog luck!
Big kick for the finish line? Keep on running! :)
You're almost there...great job!
Good luck breaking 1000!!!!
Hey Dan... Good luck and you are getting closer to your goal. That's awesome! Have your kids hold up the "finish" tape when you hit 1,000 miles!
you're all over it!
You're definitely not boring. I am in awe of your achievement! Great job on the mileage. You're almost there!
I liked that new game show, Duel, too. Much more challenging than Millionaire, where you can sit and think about a question forever, or Deal or No Deal, where all you have to do is pick a number.
Almost there! Keep up the good work.
Almost there, Dan.
If I'm not mistaken, the Scoville Scale determines the amount of heat in a pepper. (No internet help used, so I hope it's right!)
I have the Nancy Clark book, too. Now, just need to implement it.
Keep on running, my friend!
Awesome, 1,000 miles. That's way cool! Good work!
