This is how my Super Bowl started. Minutes after the National Anthem I am in the car driving our Black Lab (Melmo) to the Emergency Room to have a bone removed from her lower jaw.

I hope Melmo is OK. A few years ago, our neighbors had a really annoying mutt that chewed up everything. It got a round ham bone stuck on its jaw just like Melmo but in Princess' case, we were glad for the respite from her pesky ways (and found it humorous -- she was fine after the vet cut the bone off).
I had a heck of a time figuring out that picture, but finally got it. Hope your dog is OK now. (I love black Labs!)

i have a black lab too!! they're the best!!! ella is sitting here as i write this. hope melmo is recovering well!!
